Today I want to show you my precious gorgeous lovely new black bag. I needed a new everyday black bag as I told you in my summer wishlist and I finally got it. It's pretty obvious that it's inspired in a designer bag (if you don't know what I'm talking about maybe you want to check out this link) and I'm not ashamed at all, because I won't spend that amount of money in a bag on any lifetime soon. Still I loved so much the design so... eBay was the answer for this need. I looked out for something alike this bag in asos and other brands/shops but I didn't really like any of them until I found this one I knew it was the one. It arrived a few days ago from Canada and it is already one of my favorite pieces ever.

Yesterday I recieved some of the photos of my last trip to Madrid back in february. So as I haven't been able to buy a new camera card here there are some of the pics and now we'll pretend them to be a new OOTD, ok? Haha. I hope you like them anyway.

Sorry I've been MIA this last week, I went through a camera mini drama. Ugh, my camera card broke or something, I don't know what happened to it... but the thing is that I need to buy a new one for using my camera again and worst of all, I lost four outfit photoshoots that I was planning to post these days... So yeah, that happened, it sucks, but that's what it is and that's why I've been missing.
So until I can go back to my posting schedule, here I come with an instagram update. I had a week of posting cats like crazy. My two kitties Mya and Katy to be concrete. They came to my home for a week while my mon (with who they live) was in vacation.
I hope you like them! I love them sooooo much ❤
Here a random (and pretty strange) selfie
My room, featuring my new b/w ikea blanket
And a little galaxy-lita moment
I'll be posting new outfits and more soon, hopefully! :)
Thank you so much for your visit!

Yesterday I was in a summery-hippie mood and I wanted to wear this dress that was actually my mother's from when she had my age. I love this dress to pieces but I never wore it before because I used to feel it too dressy, so I decided to balance it to make it completely casual but still with that boho style that this dress screams to me.
I put on a simple little black hoodie and my pair of black converse and that was it. I added a purple-pink headband because when I have a "summery-hippie" day I NEED to wear one of those (lol). I didn't want to add any necklace because I wanted to keep it simple and sport-ish.

I thought about this post series about "icons" or "fashion inspiration" as you prefer, and maybe on doing them monthly... For now, I want to start this style icon with the lovely Miley Cyrus.
I think I always liked her in one way or another... but lately I've been obssesed with her style.
I watched all the Hannah Montana episodes, (and the movie, of course,) don't ask me why, because I have no clue, I just did. Maybe something was telling me that someday that cute teen will become in a style inspiration... haha
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, this was the first Miley we knew
It seems like it was hard for her to stop being Hannah Montana for becoming just Miley, what drove her to this strange phase...
Anyway, a couple of years ago this beautiful lady started looking for a little more edgy look and this was what happened...
We're getting better, don't you think?
So last year she decided to cut her hair as you all know and she made this extreme change of her look, transforming herself in a stylish icon that I really like and from whom I want to show you a little photo collection that I collected.
I'm not a fan of short hair normally, but she can definitely do it!
What I like the most is her "street style" - the casual looks she picks for everyday looks.
Very 90's, rocker, chic, easy, cute and fun! Plus she's beautiful.
Here an interview she made a couple of weeks ago for Harper's Bazaar
(I absolutely LOVE Laura Brown's interviews - she's so funny!)
And if you want some laughs here it is the Sexy vs skanky episode they made for her
(LOVE this show, it's so much fun)
I hope you liked it and got some inspiration! :)

This saturday I went to my friend's birthday. No party, nothing fancy, just some friends hanging out, so I went for a cute look, still casual. My new elephant -cut out sleeves- dress was perfect for that.
I added a chunky pendant and my black Dr. Martens, I think they balance the dress, I always love how combat boots look with any girly dress.

I think that this kind of post is interesting. I really like to see what other people is reading, sometimes I can take some ideas and I think it's fun. I will try not to do this very long I'm not doing a review of any book, just a list of what I read last month and if I liked it or not.
So this was it for the month of july. It's very noticeable that I'm on vacation because normally I don't have the time for reading this much.
El Aleph (which is its original title, I can't find the english title, if it has it) by Jorge Luis Borges
I like it, but it is pretty tough, definetely not easy for me, but I think it's worth it.
L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad
The only one that I read in english this month. I like to read light books in english, mostly for training my reading, once in a while. I think that this is not a good book, but it's easy and entertaining.
Animal farm by George Orwell
A classic that I didn't read until now. I love it, it's very fun, I wish I read it when I was a kid.
Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
Another classic. I loved it, but it's pretty tough, not because of how is written (which I think it's beatiful) but because of the story, mainly because it's about a pederast and I guess it's not a book for everyone. But anyways, I think that it's a must-read (preferably is you're +18).
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Yep, another classic, I've been exploiting well my free time. What can I say, it's a sacrilege that I didn't read this beauty until now, it's amazing, specially for a vampire lover/freak like me. I think it's so funny, specially if you notice that it's the birth of the vampires as the romantic creatures that we know today. Well, not as romantic as the Anne Rice version, of course, but it was in Dracula when the vampires stopped being just evil monsters. I think it's very interesting to see how was the beginning. And the book itself is definetely lovely.
And that was it, I really hope you liked it :)

This is the outfit I wore yesterday to walk around and drink some light coke on my favourite irish pub.
I ended hating myself for dressing with so many coats... I didn't expect it to be SO FREAKING HOT at the end of the day T.T But whatever, I hope you like the look anyway ;)
This is me looking forward to the future... (just kidding :P)

Hey there! I just started trying to make a routine for my blog and I think this type of post is an essential.
I'll start my monthly favorites with the categories: make up, fashion, movies and songs. I don't know if I should add any other category... I think I'll do a little post apart for books :)
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural "Light" (left) and "Medium" (right)
Even though the weather is not extremely hot where I live, it is very humid, so I don't like to put a lot of stuff on my face in summer. If I have a very bad face day I'll use liquid foundation, but if I can avoid it I will avoid it. So this pressed powder foundation is perfect for me when I don't want a heavy feeling on the skin.
It feels like you are wearing nothing, but still evens your skintone and covers the little discolourations and imperfections, specially if you apply it with my next favourite...
Sigma F80 flat top synthetic kabuki brush
I can't find a better brush for applying my MSF Natural powder when I want it to be more covering.
This powder can be apply more lightly with other brushes, but if you want to use it alone, this brush is just perfect.
MAC Brow set "show off"
I didn't have a brow gel and as the eyebrow freak I am, I needed one. I was going to buy the Illamasqua brow and lash gel, but it was out of stock so I got the MAC one. It's fine, I mean, I can't compare it to any other, but I put it and it stays on my eyebrows avoiding any hair movement, so it does its job and now it's an essential for me. It lasts all day. The only complain I may have is that it's a little too red. I think they should have more shades, because there are only two (this is the darker one).
YSL Mascara volume effect faux cils waterproof "1"
I bought this last month and it was the second time I buy it, I'm absolutely in love with this mascara. I don't use to try a lot of eyelash mascaras because it seems like my eyes are too special for them... and most of them ends falling out on my cheekbones every single time I use them. Now after a lot of tries I know that I just can wear waterproof mascara, but still not anyone. Anyhow, this works perfect for me.
Illamasqua precision ink "Havoc"
Sometimes I want a quick make up look but something more than a "clean face" (AKA base+eyebrows+concealer) and this eyeliner is perfect for this because it's very easy to apply and it's very longlasting.
I don't really like the other pen-type eyeliners that I own and I wanted to try this one because I've heard nothing but great things about it. I wanted to buy the black one, but when the Illamasqua summer sale came out and I saw this with an important discount I couldn't resist and I'm so happy I bought it because it makes a different twist to my everyday looks but it's still dark so it's not too dramatic.
The color in the first photo seems more red than it actually is but the color it shows on the swatches is pretty certain :)
I was thinking about my most wore/loved clothes of this month and there are three unquestionable winners that I put together in this one outfit, which is an outfit that I actually enjoyed wearing to the gym, it's so fresh and confortable! But I've been also wearing a lot these ingredients separately.
First of all my triangle tee from romwe that I got in june and I love to pieces. You saw me wearing it on my Soft grunge outfit of the day.
Then this skirt I bought when I went to Turkey back in 2007. It was from a random store, but it's 6 years old already and it looks brand new. I like it for making crazy pattern combinations and also for simple looks like this. It's madly confortable. You saw thin on me on my Bun in up look.
And last but not least my black converse, same again: extremely confortable and easy to wear with absolutely anything.
I went to cinema to watch the last Star Trek movie "Star Trek Into darkness" and as I didn't watch any Star Trek movie nor anything before... I watched the 2009 movie first. And I loved it! Who could know... And then I liked the last one too so I decided to watch the first original movie too and it's pretty good. The special effects are not as majestic as in the modern movies, well, it's from 1979, ok? Having this in mind... damn it, they knew what they were doing.
Who knows, maybe I'll continue watching the first generation films, I have like 9 freaking more movies to see so... we'll see!
But yeah it was a big surprise for me to find myself enjoying those ^^
There are two clear winners on my most listened songs of july and those are Miley Cyrus' We can't stop (so original, right? I think everyone is obssesed with this song right now) and I fink you freeky by Die Antwoord.
And I think that's it! I really hope it was interesting. Thank you for your visit :)
